Our Story

Founded in 1985 in downtown Rochester, NY, Burke & Bannayan Jewelers began as a trade shop focused on expert jewelry repair and custom design. The business was established by the late Thomas Burke and Vic Bannayan, who shared a passion for quality craftsmanship and personalized service.

In 1994, Vic relocated the business to Greece, NY, opening a full-service retail store in the Country Village Plaza. As the business grew, so did the need for a larger, more permanent space. In 2012, Burke & Bannayan Jewelers moved to our current location on Ridge Road, where we continue to serve the community with the same dedication and attention to detail.

The store remains a family-run operation, now proudly including Vic’s son, John Bannayan, a Graduate Gemologist from GIA in Carlsbad, CA. With advanced training in CAD-CAM jewelry design, John brings modern innovation to the timeless art of fine jewelry.
